What Are Normies?

1,600 pixels that form a face.

Each Normie was minted as a 40×40 monochrome bitmap: 1,600 pixels that form a unique face. Every normie was generated using AI during the minting process and permanently stored on-chain. The artwork isn't hosted anywhere. It lives entirely inside Ethereum smart contracts, rendered as SVG on demand.

Normies were minted as Humans, Cats, Aliens and Agents. Twenty-one Humans have since risen as Zombies, a fifth type.

Built Together

Art that belongs to everyone.

Normies is CC0. The art, the contracts and the code belong to everyone. There are no gates. Anyone can build on top of normies, remix them, or create entirely new experiences around them.

The monochrome pixel aesthetic isn't just a stylistic choice. It's a constraint that makes normies simple, composable, and endlessly reinterpretable. Every normie is a building block: a 1,600-pixel identity that can live across any context the community imagines.

Community members are already building tools, visualizers, and experiments. What happens next is up to whoever shows up.

No rights reserved. Build freely.

Interoperable

On-chain pixels anyone can read, compose, and extend.

Five Types

One grid, five identities.

Humans, Cats, Aliens and Agents, and now 21 Zombies, each with its own visual identity. Click a face to see another of its type, straight from the on-chain Type trait.

Humans

The baseline citizens of the grid. Ordinary faces with extraordinary permanence.

Cats

Feline Normies. Same 1,600 pixels, a little more attitude.

Aliens

The rare outsiders. Off-world identities encoded in monochrome.

Agents

A native Normie type, minted like the rest. Suits, shades, and strictly confidential business.

Zombies

Not minted: 21 Humans converted through a merkle-gated commit-reveal into bespoke undead. Bitten, revealed, reborn on chain.

Legendary Canvases

Hand-picked, on-chain crafted.

A curated selection of standout Normies, picked for their artistry, history, and on-chain craft. Open any card for the full details.

Pixels, earned by burning.

Every burn turns Normies into pixels. Put on a Normie, they set how far its art can change. This is how many the collection has earned so far.

On-Chain Architecture

Engineered for permanence.

200
Bytes per Normie

Each Normie was minted as 200 bytes of pixel data, stored with SSTORE2 behind a single contract pointer per token.

1,600
Pixels per Face

A 40×40 grid where each bit represents one pixel. MSB-first encoding packs the entire face into a compact binary format.

100%
On-Chain

SVGs are generated on chain, row by row. Metadata, traits and artwork all come from the contract.

10,000 faces. Zero servers.

Fully on-chain. Free to remix. Join the Normies.
